Schedule: Full-time - Benefits eligible!
Pay: $17 to 19/hr

Benefits - Approximate full-time benefits package value = $23,000:

Position Summary
Under the supervision of the APRNs and Division Director of Treatment Services, the Medical Assistant/Medical Office Coordinator performs routine administrative and clinical support functions to assist the APRNs including: answering phones, scheduling appointments, assisting clients in tracking their medication, and occasionally giving clients injections.   

Essential Duties

  • Act as a support person for the APRNs
  • Perform administrative and clinical duties
  • Manage the APRNs’ appointment schedule
  • Assist clients in completing patient assistance applications
  • Track clients’ medications
  • Call in client refills when needed and when appropriate
  • Deliver medications to clients’ homes
  • Record services in the OHR (Online Health Record) in a timely manner
  • Maintain professional boundaries and client confidentiality at all times.
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in writing and via email, as well as the ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters
  • Attend work on a punctual, regular, and predictable basis

Qualifications
  • Successful completion of an Accredited Medical Assistant program and a High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of multiple phone line system
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients
  • Experience in an outpatient mental health setting preferred
  • Work is generally performed in an office environment, must sit for extended periods of time
  • Some light lifting, no more than 25 lbs. may be required
