Rate of pay: $62,400 to $68,640
Schedule: Full Time - 40 hrs/week

Position Summary
To manage agency data systems and maintain data integrity for program data initiatives. Lead agency data collection, analysis, and reporting functions to support program and support teams with quality data to measure outcomes in a timely and efficient manner.
Essential Duties
- Manage all program data systems to ensure quality, validity and accuracy of data input and reporting. Monitor data reporting requirements to guarantee timely report submission for all agency funders.
- Establish and maintain best practices in data collection and reporting. Adjust processes and systems as needed to ensure data integrity to meet the ever-changing data needs of the agency.
- Supervise the data team in providing guidance and support for accomplishment of agency initiatives regarding collection, management and reporting of program and agency outcomes.
- Actively participate in and provide support to Quality Improvement and Data and Outcomes (QIDO) Board Subcommittee.
- Conduct periodic Grants and Reports meetings with program directors, to validate agency compliance with grant requirements related to data collection and reporting requirements.
- Serve as the point of contact for data requests, reports, and supporting documentation requested in monitoring/auditing events.
- Review reporting requirements of all funding sources to confirm that adequate and appropriate data is collected to fulfill requirements. Work with programs directors to update and develop data collections tools as needed.
- Participate in enhancing and implementing quality control procedures regarding the collection and reporting of data. Analyze data quality reports to validate data and to identify fluctuations from expected results. Research variances and review with program staff to validate and correct data and processes as necessary.
- Maintain a working knowledge of all agency’s programs and activities, as well as stay current on regulations around government awards.
- Ensure proper training of data entry staff and volunteers to confirm the timely and accurate input of data into HMIS, UWITS, and other required databases. Ensure that instructional materials are up to date for databases.
- Ensure that all data is properly secured and is maintained according to established record retention policies.
- Perform work on site to support program and administrative staff unless accommodations have been granted.
- Attend work as scheduled and arrive at the designated time.
Secondary Duties
- Participate in HMIS and UWITS committee meetings.
- Develop strategies to improve systems to move agency towards a paperless environment Recommend acquisition of new technology solutions to improve or automate existing processes.
- Perform other functions as necessary or assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least two years’ experience with a focus on data analysis, data integrity and maintenance, reporting, data enrichment, and program tracking or any combination of education, experience, and training which provides the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, advanced database and spreadsheet skills. (Skills in Tableau, PowerBI, Access, and SQL a plus).
- Ability to prepare, merge, analyze, interpret, and report on agency data. Knowledge of how programs work.
- Results-oriented, team player, collaborative and self-motivated. Able to work with multiple programs.
- Natural curiosity with strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to prioritize and handle multiple projects and deadlines while paying attention to detail.
- Make decisions within scope of job responsibilities.
- Exceptional inter-personal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to uphold professional boundaries, confidentiality regulations, agency policies and procedures and interact in a professional manner with a diverse workforce, clients, and outside agencies.
- Willingness to accept supervision and direction.
- Must be at least 21 years of age, possess a current driver’s license, have a good driving record, and be insurable on the agency liability policy.
- Must be able to pass Utah-DHS – Office of Licensing background screening and pre-employment drug screen.
Physical Demands
- Work is generally performed in an office environment. Must sit for extended periods of time.
- Requires use of computer screen for extended periods.
