Description
Interact with residents and build rapport with them. Work full-time Saturday-Monday 9:00 pm-7:00 am. Make a positive difference in the lives of 14 young men, 18 - 24 years of age, who are transitioning from homelessness or foster care to self-sufficiency. Assist in the supervision of the facility and aid residents in working toward self sufficiency, gaining permanent housing, increasing income, and developing healthy living skills.

- Oversee activities of residents to ensure their safety; well-being; participation in the program; and compliance with guidelines.
- Resolve conflicts between residents and provide crisis intervention.
- Develop goals with residents and assist them with their goal plans.
- Facilitate educational and volunteer groups.
- Complete all required paperwork accurately and completely.
- Assess medical emergencies, provide emergency First Aid and CPR, and coordinate medical services as needed.
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Ability to enforce rules.
- High school diploma/GED and significant undergraduate education in the social sciences, psychology, social work.
- Experience working with young men.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record (no more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years, no DUI in the past 5 years).
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
