Description
Provide direct and indirect outpatient therapy services to youth ages 16-25 experiencing homelessness and serious mental health conditions. Work as a member of the Youth Empowered Solutions to Succeed Program with a Program Manager and Case Managers. Assist with clinical program development and community networking as needed. Supervision provided for therapists working toward licensure.

Essential Duties
  1. Provide clinical services to clients, often in non-office settings.
  2. Complete mental health assessments with clients and develop treatment goals collaboratively with clients.
  3. Participate in regularly scheduled clinical case reviews to ensure appropriate case planning and referral of clients to the most appropriate service provider.
  4. Develop and/or maintain client case files, as directed
  5. Participate in interagency case consultation as necessary, while adhering to agency’s confidentiality policy.
  6. Discuss particularly difficult cases at clinical case review in order to gain support for intervention strategies.
  7. Evaluate effective clinical interventions based on developmental stage appropriate assessments.
  8. Periodically provide safe transportation (in agency vehicle) for clients who have accepted referrals or have appointments related to mental health care.
Qualifications
  1. Master’s degree in social work or clinical mental health counseling with full licensure or certified to work towards licensure.
  2. Work effectively and ethically with a diverse group of people.
  3. Maintain appropriate, professional boundaries with clients and coworkers.
  4. Exhibit clear communication skills and cooperates with others.
  5. Take action and make decisions within the scope of position responsibilities.
  6. Consider alternatives and consequences before making independent decisions.
  7. Proactively expand and integrate knowledge of community resources.
  8. Protect the safety of all information handled.
  9. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  10. Ability to lift and carry 25 lbs.
  11. Must be at least 21 years of age, possess a current driver’s license, have a good driving record and be insurable on the agency liability policy.
  12. Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
