Work part-time in an outpatient setting at Cornerstone Counseling Center, a Volunteers of America, Utah program. Since 1986, our non-profit agency has provided a bridge to self-reliance and health for vulnerable individuals and populations who struggle with homelessness, addiction and mental illness in our Wasatch Front communities. 
 

• Conduct psychiatric assessments including psychiatric history, course of illness, response to treatment, mental status examination, and diagnoses.
• Prescribe psychotropic medications; conduct regular assessments of therapeutic responses and side effects; and educate clients regarding psychotropic medications.
• Complete required notes and documentation.

Qualifications

• Current APRN license with Prescriptive Practice is required.
• Experience/training working with psychiatric patients required. 
• Knowledge/experience working with chronically homeless or severely at-risk populations is preferred.
• Advanced knowledge and experience working with individuals diagnosed with a serious mental illness and/or substance use disorder is preferred.
• Ability to build rapport with clients and provide evidence-based treatments for mental health and substance use disorders.
• Basic computer skills.
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screening.

Part-time, one 8 hour day during the workweek
