Description
Join a team of community partners to provide an innovative, interagency approach to housing at the Grace Mary Manor apartments. Work with the residents, services staff, and housing management to identify needs and coordinate resources that promote self-sufficiency and healthy communities. This complex has 1 bedroom affordable apartments for individuals emerging from chronic homelessness. Volunteers of America, Utah supports the Housing First Mission and assisting individuals to achieve long-term housing stability.
  • Coordinate services for a caseload of approx. 20 residents
  • Support residents in defining goals and obtaining benefits.
  • Conduct on-site apartment visits.
  • Establish and maintain positive workings relationships with residents, co-workers, and other professionals.
  • Attend and actively participate in clinical staffings weekly
  • Complete paperwork and keep accurate documentation regarding services provided
  • Solve complex situations and diffuse potentially explosive situations.  
  • Adhere to standards set for the project by Salt Lake County Housing Authority.
Qualifications 
  • Bachelors degree and 1 - 2 years experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Case Management experience.
  • Computer literate.
  • Bilingual Preferred (English & Spanish).
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Must pass drug screen and criminal background check. 
$30,000. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, and life insurance; paid holidays, vacation, and sick time; retirement plan with company match.
